Centering on the life of Darius Bryant, a modern-day gay black man, his odyssey offers a profound exploration of generational trauma woven into the fabric of American society. In this short film, Darius, a black queer man, finds himself entangled in the State of Oz. Navigating a surreal subconscious realm, Darius encounters a cast of characters, each harboring their own fears and stories. Unbeknownst to him, Oz and the new City of Eden are not as safe of a haven as described by its leader, Elara.
